Henley Business School

Department of Agri-Food Economics and Marketing

The Department of Agri-Food Economics and Marketing has expertise in agricultural economics, development finance, consumer behaviour, and food economics and marketing. Our academics and graduates are tackling some of the biggest issues of the 21st century aligned to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

You’ll join a diverse community in our Graduate Institute of International Development, Agriculture and Economics (GIIDAE), which offers a unique and global learning experience. Our internationally renowned academics are at the forefront of research, practice and policy development.

Choose from two food-related master’s programmes

  • MSc Food Economics and Marketing: focuses on how economic and marketing forces influence the decisions of producers, processors, retailers, consumers and policy makers along food supply chains.
  • MSc Consumer Behaviour: suitable for graduates from both business and non-business backgrounds, this course covers the latest thinking in consumer behaviour. You’ll develop the ability to understand, interpret and predict the consumer actions that underpin all marketing activities.

Accreditation

All of our marketing programmes are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), allowing our graduates to gain module exemptions from some CIM diplomas and certificates.
