Established partnerships

Our networks and the impact of our work are both local and global. Locally, we work closely with over 400 well-established partner schools to train the next generation of outstanding teachers. Globally, our research, consultancy and other projects extend to countries as varied as China, Jamaica, the USA and Singapore.

Research

We have a national and international reputation for impactful research. Through our research, we aim to improve education and learning as a route to self-efficacy, economic wellbeing, and improved life chances.

We are also proud that we make important contributions to theory across the education, language and learning spectrum. In the latest national assessment, 98% of our research is of international standing (REF 2021, combining 4*, 3* and 2* submissions – 教育), positively impacting on educational policy and practice.
