缺少数量大厅 opened in 1908 and comprises two areas, Old Court and New Court. Old Court is a beautiful building in a traditional college style with a lawned quadrangle and a clock tower gateway. Other, more modern rooms are available in New Court.

All hall rooms come with a Platinum Meal Plan, which includes all your daily meals and means that you can dine in the impressive dining hall or choose from the many other food outlets around campus.

With our flexible Meal Plans, you can eat fresh, nutritious meals at 13 of our food outlets across our campuses, benefiting from discounts of up to 75% on food as well as free drinks.

Rooms in this hall come with a Platinum Meal Plan included in the weekly rent, which covers three meals a day.

Accommodation Guarantee


Prospective students are guaranteed a place in halls if they are:

  • A new full-time undergraduate who holds Reading as a Firm UCAS choice and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2025.
  • A new full-time postgraduate who has accepted an offer from the University and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2025.
