By the end of the module it is expected that students will be able to:

•analyse the distinctive characteristics of the selected primary texts

•recognise and discuss aspects of Shakespeare’s dramatic development

•demonstrate an awareness of the plays in their contexts

•engage critically with the ideas presented in lectures, seminars, and secondary materials

•organise and articulate a coherent written argument, both in coursework essays and under timed examination conditions.

形成性评价方法：

形成性评估方法——提供机会提高成绩的工作（例如通过提供反馈），但不一定总是对整个模块的分数有贡献：学生写一篇形成性文章，大约1000 - 1200字。 对2000字的评估论文或同等的实习报告也会提供反馈。

逾期提交的处罚：

支助中心将对逾期提交的工作实行下列处罚：

• 在原定截止日期（或任何正式同意的延期截止日期）之后提交的作业：截止日期后的每个工作日（或其中的一部分）将从该作业的总分数中扣除10%的分数，最多可达五个工作日；
• 如果作品在原始截止日期（或任何正式同意的截止日期延长）后超过五个工作日提交：将记录零分。
