Essentials Guidance and support Counselling and Wellbeing

Counselling and Wellbeing

The place to come for professional counselling, wellbeing and mental health support - available free of charge to all University of Reading students.

The Counselling and Wellbeing Team

If you need urgent mental health support when we are closed, all students have access to the 24hr support line where you can call or live chat with experts in your preferred language at any time of the day, also view urgent help pages  or resources and external support.

The Counselling and Wellbeing Team offers support with your emotional wellbeing and mental health.  Our support is available in person and via MS Teams.

For general information please email counselling@reading.ac.uk or phone 0118 378 4216 (Mon-Fri between 9:00 - 16:00) except during closure days and Bank Holidays.
