The University of Reading makes a range of offers to best fit the different circumstances and experiences of our applicants.
We take a tailored approach to assessing each application to make the most appropriate offer, taking account of:
- whether you’ve already completed your A levels (or equivalent) or are still studying
- the course you’ve applied for
- the grades you achieved at GCSE level
- your personal statement
- whether the course you’re applying for requires you to attend an interview.
We also recognise that predicted grades aren’t always an accurate reflection of potential, so we often consider giving aspirational offers to applicants who are predicted a couple of grades below our entry requirements.
