Creighton Court is a series of purpose-built one- and two-bedroom flats designed for mature students, couples and families with one or two children under 12 years of age. Close to Whiteknights campus, local shops and amenities, Creighton Court is ideal accommodation for students with partners and children. Family accommodation for 24/25 is available to book from April 2024.

Meal plans

The University recommends all first-year students select a Meal Plan with your Accommodation choice to support your transition to life at university and help you reach your full potential academically. 

We offer a choice of 3, 7, 14 or unlimited number of Meals per week across 5 large dining sites to all students regardless of where you live.

Students with specific requirements

Single-sex accommodation

Creighton Court is formed of eight self-contained flats suitable for families and 16 flats suitable for couples and mature students. As a consequence, students do not need to interact with people of another sex in their accommodation. However, there is no dedicated space for single-sex accommodation.

The shared laundry, garden and bike sheds are not single-sex. 

Accessibility

The flats at Creighton Court are not adapted to be accessible. We work closely with the University of Reading's Disability Advisory Service to support students who require adaptations or accessible rooms. Find out more on the accessible accommodation page.

Accommodation Guarantee

Prospective students are guaranteed a place in halls if they are:

  • A new full-time undergraduate who holds Reading as a Firm UCAS choice and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2025.
  • A new full-time postgraduate who has accepted an offer from the University and applies for accommodation by 1 August** and satisfies any conditions of their academic offer by 3 September 2025.
