大纲内容:

This module introduces the student to the discipline discussing the different organization scales covered by ecologists from individuals and their life-histories, to population dynamics, species interactions, community and landscape ecology. 学生s will learn how ecological questions can be used to understand and address conservation problems. Core topics include: population dynamics, species interactions like herbivory, predation, parasitism, mutualisms, community struc ture, and succession and large scale ecology.

During the practical sessions conducted on campus, students will practice different field techniques and how these can be applied to gather data to test scientific questions and hypotheses.

形成性评价方法：

In-class quizzes and blackboard tests (with questions similar to those that will appear in the final exam) available during the 春天 term to familiarize students with exam format, assess their individual progress identifying areas for improvement.

逾期提交的处罚：

支助中心将对逾期提交的工作实行下列处罚：

• 在原定截止日期（或任何正式同意的延期截止日期）之后提交的作业：截止日期后的每个工作日（或其中的一部分）将从该作业的总分数中扣除10%的分数，最多可达五个工作日；
